Why prepare for 6000D ?
6000D races are very demanding. They require specialized training. This training allows runners to arrive calmly on race day and make the most of their experience.
RunMotion Coach training plans are tailored to all distances and elevation profiles of trail or ultra-trail races. They were developed by experienced coaches who have trained runners ranging from beginners to international athletes.
For example, they can offer you hiking runs lasting up to 5 hours or hill repeats to work on your endurance and strength. These are two very important aspects not to neglect when preparing for a trail race.
I have other races besides 6000D planned, how can I integrate them into my training plan?
In the app, you can set multiple goals with different levels of importance: main or intermediate. The plan then adapts to ensure you’re in top shape for your primary goal while considering intermediate goals by lightening your training load just before and after your races.
Ideally, you would schedule the last intermediate race at least two weeks before your main goal to maintain mental and physical freshness for your primary goal. We recommend a maximum of two competitions per month, with few exceptions.

How was my training program created?
All RunMotion programs were designed by certified and recognized coaches. An algorithm, developed by one of our geeky runners 🤓 in collaboration with our coaches, manages the program's structure and ability to adapt to a runner's input. The program then adapts to the entered race distance, the runner's availability, and training terrains. Your program includes more intense training phases and recovery phases.
